Mack Press is a seasoned trial attorney with over 30 years of litigation experience. He earned his Economics degree magna cum laude from the Wharton School in 1993 and his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1997. He is licensed in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, and admitted to federal courts including the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Early in his career, Mack handled complex litigation at major New York law firms, including personal injury, insurance, and unfair competition cases. In 2012, he launched The Mack Firm, where he litigated nationwide class-actions and represented countless plaintiffs, including in high-profile cases against Samsung and Lance Armstrong.
But Mack isn’t just another lawyer — he’s a dog lover and a dog bite survivor.
While walking his chocolate lab, Lucky, Mack was brutally attacked by a loose dog. The dog charged unprovoked, knocking Mack down and viciously biting Lucky near the jugular. Mack shielded Lucky with his body for several minutes, suffering more than 20 bites to his face, head, arms, and legs — and even lost a front tooth. Lucky survived thanks to emergency surgery, and today he’s happy and healthy.
This traumatic experience led Mack to a mission: helping other dog bite victims get justice. He founded The New York Dog Bite Lawyer℠ to provide legal representation for people who’ve suffered the physical and emotional toll of a dog attack.
Mack understands the pain victims go through — because he’s lived it. That personal connection fuels his commitment to his clients and their recovery. He also fights to protect dogs by advocating for “no kill” clauses in settlements and requiring training for aggressive dogs, not euthanasia.
